“
Most of us are about as eager to be changed as we were to be born,
and go through our changes in a similar state of shock.” -
James Baldwin
In February
1996, ten Area Agencies on Aging representing five
states met in Chicago to form the Great Lakes Alliance,
Inc. Some of them were not for profits and some where governmental
entities,
but they had a common vision, to create a unique organization that
would be innovative in assisting other organizations to meet local
community needs, primarily the needs of the senior population.
The GLA later was re-structured as the National Enterprise Alliance
and transitioned to NPI in 2005. NPI, remains commited
to hard work, to the strength that comes from collaboration, to the
belief
that
enlightened
self
interest
combined
with interdependent
action to achieve mutually agree upon goals can create value. National
Partners Incorporated offers your organization
the means to serve your local community now and into the future.
You
are only
one or
two
clicks from expanding your horizon and exploring new possibilities.
Paradigm Shift
Are you questioning the capacity of national, state,
and local funding sources to continually underwrite the services
that you are providing
to your clients in the community? Are you considering that the
first wave of "baby
boomers" will be retiring soon, and that this will significantly
increase the need for services, while funding increases will be
marginal, if any? Are you concerned about increasing operating
costs due to inefficiencies in the way you do business today? If
you are, then you belong in NPI. |
