After having evaluated the Bio-Wipe Bags we are now
using them on all calls that we start IV’s. Our paramedics put the bag under
the IV site to catch any blood spill from the patient. We also use
it to discard our prep pads and other disposable items used to start
the IV’s. It is a handy way to not leave any mess, and all
of the biohazards are in a convenient disposable pouch. We also use
these
bags to wipe up any other body fluids. We have placed Bio-Wipe Bags
on all of our Medic and Fire units for our personnel to use. Thanks
